The McBride Family
Hello we are the McBrides. Aaron, Renee, Aric, and Alex. God is graciously allowing us to serve at Southside Baptist Church. We are thankful for many lessons we have learned and are going to learn underneath the ministry of Pastor Walters. Please allow us to take a moment to introduce ourselves to you at this time.
As a teenager Aaron was quite involved with the church that his family attended. He was very involved in the music program as well as leading Children's Church for 2 years before leaving for college. In the summer of 2002 Aaron struggled quite a bit with his salvation and finally settled it on August 9, 2002, to this day there is no doubt in his mind that he is saved. That same summer he left for Ambassador Baptist College from where he would graduate in May 2007, with a major in mission. After graduating from college he and Renee were married and began deputation to go to Newfoundland, Canada, however God changed their direction and brought them to Southside Baptist Church where Aaron currently serves as the Assistant Pastor.
Renee grew up at Southside where her mother was the secretary for 18 years. She grew up facing many challenges and difficulties. When she was an infant she developed bacterial meningitis which nearly took her life, but through the faithful prayers of her pastor and parents God saw fit to intervene. However the sickness took a toll on Renee leaving her hearing impaired. But through the struggles involved with the hearing impairment God has made her fit for His service. She has been to several different countries on Missions Trips and has brought great blessings on all those she has helped serve. Renee graduated from Ambassador Baptist College in 2006 with a major in missions. It was there that Aaron and Renee met, but it was not until after she had already graduated that God brought them together. God has blessed them with two children and is continuing to bless them in many other great ways.
